Troy Gentry was a singer and musician best known for being one half of the popular country duo Montgomery Gentry, with his singing partner Eddie Montgomery. Their Southern rock-influenced country music can be heard on their hits "Something to Be Proud Of," "Lucky Man" and "Roll with Me,” among others.

Gentry performed frequently on television, including spots on Good Morning America, The Tony Danza Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CMT Insider and Live with Kelly.
