Tom Ellingwood

Tom Ellingwood was a makeup artist who worked in film, television and commercials. He is best known for his frequent work on films starring Burt Reynolds, including Smokey and the Bandit, The Cannonball Run and The Longest Yard.

He also worked on the Reynolds-starring films The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing, Fuzz, White Lightning, At Long Last Love, W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings, Hustle, Gator, Nickelodeon, The End, Hooper, Starting Over, Rough Cut, Smokey and the Bandit II, Paternity, Sharky’s Machine, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Best Friends, Stroker Ace, Stick, Heat and Malone.

Additionally, he worked on the films The Late Liz, Lucky Lady, Beyond the Poseidon Adventure and Little Darlings, as well as the telefilms The Blue Knight, Gidget’s Summer Reunion, The Return of the Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman and The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion.
