Peter Kizer
Peter Kizer was a television executive and owner of TV stations throughout Michigan. He was best known for serving as the general manager of WDIV Detroit, where he worked for 15 years.
He also served as an NAB TV board chair while running the Evening News group. When Evening News was sold to Gannett, in 1986, Kizer founded Federal Broadcasting, which went on to buy seven television stations and two radio stations.
Kizer died August 24, 2016. He was 86.
