Paul Ryan

Paul Ryan was an actor, producer and television host best known for his work as a Hollywood correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

He also worked as a correspondent for KTLA Morning News, and hosted an interview series called Legends from Here on Here TV, as well as a Celebrity Master Class at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation.

He appeared in small roles in both television and film, including parts on TV series The Young Lawyers, Bewitched, Emergency!, Mission: Impossible, Barnaby Jones, Flying High, Night Court, Highway to Heaven, Murder, She Wrote, Desperate Housewives and Comedy Bang! Bang! His film roles included Starhops, The Promise, The Last Word, High Strung, Fast Forward and Star 80.

He authored The Art of Comedy: Getting Serious About Being Funny, which includes advice on how to build a character and incorporate improvisation into a scripted scene. He also produced a web series called A BraveHeart View, for Conscious TV.

Ryan died April 23, 2015, in Burbank, California. He was 69.
