Paul Rosenberg

Paul Rosenberg was a producer and executive best known for his work on the films The Addams Family and Doug Liman’s crime comedy Go.

While working as a sales associate at Goldman Sachs Rosenberg decided to change his career trajectory and enroll in film school at USC. He started his career shortly after graduating, landing a job with producer Scott Rudin in 1990. The following year he got his first credit as an associate producer on The Addams Family, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and starring Anjelica Huston and Christopher Lloyd.

Rosenberg then worked as a development executive for producer Ray Stark and in 1993 was hired as a production vice president at Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment, where he worked on Apollo 13 and The Nutty Professor, among others. In 1995 he was recruited to Harvey and Bob Weinstein’s Miramax, where he served as the vice president of production and helped launch Dimension Films. In 1997 he left Miramax to launch his own production company, Saratoga Entertainment.

Before pursuing work in the entertainment industry Rosenberg spent four years as a member of the U.S. freestyle ski team. During his time as a producer he also gathered two acting credits, for the television series Deadly Games and JAG.

Rosenberg died August 30, 2015, in Long Beach, California. He was 53.
