Patricia Benoit was an American actress.
At the age of 19, she moved to New York City from Fort Worth, Texas to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After her graduation in stage acting, she acted in summer stock and off-Broadway productions. She would eventually work in Broadway shows alongside Melvyn Douglas, Edward G. Robinson, and Arthur Kennedy.

Benoit was best known as nurse Nancy Remington, the sweetheart and eventual wife of Wally Cox's character, junior high school science teacher Robinson Peepers, on the 1950s NBC sitcom Mister Peepers. The wedding episode of Mister Peepers was a ratings record-breaker in 1954 and was largely appreciated by the TV audience. TV Guide used the picture of the couple's television wedding in 1954 on its cover page.
Benoit appeared in installments of several different anthology television series, including The Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse, The Alcoa Hour, Studio One in Hollywood, The United States Steel Hour, and Producers’ Showcase.
Benoit died August 6, 2018, in Port Chester, New York. She was 91.
