Matt Null

Matt Null was a producer best known as a CNN senior producer and a onetime Fox News producer.

Null graduated from Truman State University and got his start in the industry as a reporter at KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri. He worked for various local TV stations, including WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio; WFTS in Tampa, Florida; WSVN in Miami, Florida; and KRON in San Francisco, before transitioning to network news.

Beginning in 2012, he worked as a producer for Fox News’ On the Record With Greta Van Susteren.

He later worked on CNN’s morning show, Early Start, for more than three years.

Null died August 15, 2016, while vacationing in Barcelona Spain. He was 34; no cause of death was given at the time of his passing.
