Mariam Jobrani was a producer who worked on many popular reality programs, including Big Brother, The Amazing Race and America's Next Top Model. She received an Emmy nomination in 2015 for the CBS series Undercover Boss.

Jobrani also contributed to the series Amish in the City, Hell's Kitchen, If You Really Knew Me, Kitchen Nightmares and Beyond Scared Straight.

In addition to her work for television, Jobrani, the sister of actor-comedian Maz Jobrani, was an accomplished filmmaker.

In addition to her work for television, Jobrani, the sister of actor-comedian Maz Jobrani, was an accomplished filmmaker.

She garnered accolades for the 2006 short The Fighting Cholitas, about a group of female Bolivian wrestler, which she produced and directed. The film won awards at festivals in Aspen, Atlanta, Nashville and New York City, and received an honorable mention award at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

In 2010 Jobrani was diagnosed with breast cancer, which she fought valiantly for seven years. She chronicled her effort to overcome the disease in a documentary titled Everything Must Change.

Jobrani died on August 13, 2017.
