Marc Merson

Marc Merson was a producer known for feature films such as The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter and Doc Hollywood and the television series Kaz. His other TV credits included the series We'll Get By and Comedy Factory and the telefilms Moe and JoeHickey and Marriage Is Alive and Well.

Merson received a Primetime Emmy nomination for the anthology series ABC Stage 67, and in 1970 he earned an Oscar nomination for producing the 12-minute short film People Soup, which was directed by Alan Arkin and starred his sons Adam Arkin and Matthew Arkin.
