Kristin Harmon was an American actress, author, and painter.

Harmon was the daughter of the American football star Tom Harmon and actress/model Elyse Knox. Her younger siblings are model-actress Kelly Harmon and actor Mark Harmon.

She was married to actor/musician Ricky Nelson. Following her marriage to Nelson in 1963, Harmon joined the Nelson family television show The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet as a regular cast member.

Subsequently, she played the wife of Officer Jim Reed (Kent McCord) on Adam-12, guest-starred on other series and appeared in a few theatrical films before retiring from acting in 1982.

Harmon died April 27, 2018, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was 72.
