Kate O'Beirne was an editor and columnist for the conservative magazine The National Review, who best known for her frequent appearances on the news programs The Capital Gang, Meet the Press and Hardball with Chris Matthews.
O’Beirne also appeared on the series CNN & Company, as well as the television special Running Mates and the documentary Hillary: The Movie.
She joined The National Review in 1995 and served as the Washington editor before becoming president of the National Review Institute for six years.
She also authored the 2005 book Women Who Make the World Worse and How Their Radical Feminist Assault Is Ruining Our Schools, Families, Military and Sports.
O'Beirne died April 23, 2017, in Washington, D.C. She was 67.
