Jeanne Kane, one of the singing Kane Triplets, passed away January 30, 2007. Kane, the victim of a shooting, was 58 years old.
Jeanne Kane and her identical sisters Maureen and Lucille began their show business career March 31, 1958, on The Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout Show. From the late 1950s through the early 1970s, they performed on such other television shows as The Jack Benny Spectacular, The Kraft Music Hall Thanksgiving Special Starring Perry Como, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Mike Douglas Show, Bill Bixby’s Magic Man Special and The Tonight Show.

Jeanne Kane was the group’s lead singer, and was always photographed in the middle.
She is survived by her sisters and a daughter, Patricia, of Staten Island, New York.
