Elaine Rich
Elaine Rich was a personal manager of both stage and screen actors. She represented clients such as Fran Drescher, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Donna Dixon, Sylvia Kristel and Peter Marc Jacobson.
Rich began her career as a publicist in New York, where she most notably helped to popularize Bossa Nova music in the U.S. In 1976 she and her husband, character actor Allan Rich, moved to Los Angeles, where she began working for John Crosby & Associates and was given her first client, Jason Leigh.

Then-married couple Drescher and writer-producer Jacobson collaborated on the long-running CBS sitcom The Nanny. They separated in 1999, but re-teamed for the 2011 TV Land comedy Happily Divorced.
Rich died August 13, 2015, in Los Angeles. She was 81.
