Don Schoenfeld was an American makeup artist.

Schoenfeld worked extensively in Hollywood for over 30 years. His film credits include Around The World in 80 Days, The Ten Commandments, How The West Was Won, Lady Sings The Blues, Freebie and the Bean, Coma, and The China Syndrome.

Schoenfeld worked extensively in Hollywood for over 30 years. His film credits include Around The World in 80 Days, The Ten Commandments, How The West Was Won, Lady Sings The Blues, Freebie and the Bean, Coma, and The China Syndrome.

Among Schoenfeld’s television credits: Lassie, Rawhide, The Wild, Wild West, Hawaii Five-0 (original series), and The Streets of San Francisco. It was while working on Rawhide that Schoenfeld established a friendship with Clint Eastwood, becoming his personal makeup artist, and working on Eastwood films such as Play Misty For Me, The Gauntlet, and Every Which Way But Loose.

In his last years before retiring, Schoenfeld was head of the makeup department at Lorimar Television, overseeing some of their most popular television shows, such as Dallas, Knots Landing and Falcon Crest.

Schoenfeld died on December 5, 2017, in Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii. He was 96.
