Curt Hecht
Curt Hecht was an executive for the Weather Channel and was an early adopter of advanced advertising technology, which would have a great impact on television and ad placement.
He served as the Weather Channel’s chief global revenue Officer, a role in which he would oversee ad sales and business development. Hecht was known for embracing changing technology and pioneered the use of targeted advertising, utilizing the best ads for particular segments of the population, which in Hecht's case was based on local weather conditions.
Prior to his work at the Weather Channel he worked with the Publicis Groupe of France for two decades, where he managed ad buys and ultimately became the Chief Digital Officer where he worked with advertisers on reaching their customers through social media.
