Craig Hill was an actor best known for the television series Whirlybirds, an action drama about a helicopter chartering company.

Born in Los Angeles, Craig got his start in movies when he was signed to Fox Studios. His film credits included All About Eve, Cheaper by the Dozen, Detective Story, Tammy and the Bachelor and What Price Glory.

He began appearing on television in the early 1950s and went on to appear in such programs as My Little Margie, The Great Gildersleeve, Death Valley Days, Hawaiian Eye and The F.B.I.

Whirlybirds, which aired in syndication, ran from 1957 to 1960. Robert Altman, early in his career, directed 19 episodes of the series.

In the 1970s Hill moved to Spain and starred in several Westerns shot in Europe, including Hands of a Gunfighter, Fifteen Scaffolds for the Killer, Seven Pistols for a Massacre, Bury Them Deep, And the Crows Will Dig Your Grave and My Horse, My Gun, Your Widow.

Hill died April 21, 2014, in Barcelona, Spain. He was 88.
