Chris Hyndman

Chris Hyndman was a co-host of the Canadian lifestyle television show Steven and Chris. He co-hosted the CBC daytime series with his husband, Steven Sabados.

The couple met in 1992 and pursued many projects together, including the founding of their own design company, The Sabados Group. Their home décor line featured furniture, textiles, accessories and rugs, and their work was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

They also appeared on three HGTV series together: debuting in 2001 with Designer Guys, followed by Design Rivals and So Chic with Steven and Chris.

In 2008 the couple launched their own lifestyle show in Canada, Steven and Chris, which debuted in the U.S. two years later.

Hyndman died August 3, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The cause of death was not identified. He was 49.
