Carmen Argenziano was an American actor.

A prolific television actor, Argenziano appeared in episodes of The F.B.I., Kojak, Columbo, Cannon, Police Woman, CHiPS, The Rockford Files, Lou Grant, The Greatest American Hero, The A-Team, Cheers, Hill Street Blues, Cagney & Lacey, Designing Women, Matlock, L.A. Law, Melrose Place, ER, JAG, Walker, Texas Ranger, Chicago Hope, Ally McBeal, The West Wing, The Practice, 24, House, CSI: NY, The Young and the Restless, Criminal Minds, and the reboot of Hawaii Five-0.

His best-known television role was that of General Jacob Carter on Stargate SG-1. Argenziano appeared in 25 episodes of the series.

Film appearances include The Godfather, Part II (with Al Pacino), Sudden Impact (with Clint Eastwood), The Accused (with Jodie Foster), Broken Arrow (with John Travolta), and Angels & Demons (with Tom Hanks).

Argenziano died February 9, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 75.
