Blake Krikorian

Blake Krikorian was a technology entrepreneur best known for co-founding Sling Media with his brother, Jason Krikorian. Together they developed the Slingbox, a device that allows users to view regular television programming over the internet, anywhere in the world.

Prior to working at his own company, Krikorian spent time at Microsoft as an executive for Xbox, and served on the board at Amazon. He was also a longtime tech investor, and sold Sling Media to EchoStar in 2007 for nearly $400 million.

Krikorian was a former water polo player in high school, and was a member of the 1985 Junior National Team. He was his team's MVP and was an All-League swimmer as well.

He graduated from UCLA in 1989 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Krikorian died of a heart attack on August 3, 2016. He was 48.
