Ben Woolf

Ben Woolf was an actor best known for his role as Meep in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Meep was a small role, but a much-loved character, who could say just one word: “Meep.”

The actor made his first appearance in the FX anthology’s first season as Infantata. The murderous character was a Frankenstein’s monster type, created from the remains of another character from the show. Woolf donned heavy makeup and prosthetics to become the memorable creature.

Woolf is credited with five episodes of the popular series, including three as Meep in Freak Show. He also had small roles on the television series TV Face and Eagleheart, and as a stunt performer on Dexter.

Woolf died February 23, 2015, in Los Angeles, due to injuries sustained when he was hit by an automobile. He was 34.
