Ava Surrena

Ava Surrena joined the Television Academy in February 2001. As Director of Corporate Partnerships, Ava is responsible for securing and developing strategic partnerships for the Television Academy and works closely with network partners and Emmy producers to integrate multi-platform high-visibility opportunities for corporate clients.

Ava also interfaces with all Television Academy departments and committees to create compelling sponsorship opportunities for the Academy's digital ("Backstage Live!"), marketing, Emmys show (including Red Carpet Arrivals, Green Room, and Press Tent), Governors Ball, membership networking events, and select Emmy nominee receptions and peer group mixers.
 
She is a graduate of UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art. Ava enjoys quality time with her husband, daughter and two wonderful rescued dogs.
