Antony Armstrong-Jones

Antony Armstrong-Jones, commonly known as Lord Snowdon, was a photographer best known as the ex-husband of Princess Margaret.

Armstrong-Jones, a noted society photographer, was widely published and his works hang in museums and galleries around the world.

Even after his divorce from Princess Margaret he remained a fixture in high society, and was famous in his own right. He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Mike Douglas Show, as well as in the TV documentaries Snowdon on Camera, Diana: The Nation’s Farewell, Henri Cartier-Bresson: Pen, Brush and Camera and Fame, Fashion and Photography: The Real Blow Up.

Armstrong-Jones died January 13, 2017, in Kensington, London, England. He was 86.
