Angela Raiola, also known as "Big Ang," was a reality program participant best known for appearing on VH1’s Mob Wives which followed the lives of women tied to the mafia and the series’ spinoff, Big Ang. Her nickname came from her larger-than-life personality and apparent fondness for plastic surgery.

Railoa began her run on Mob Wives in 2012, for the show's second season, ultimately appearing on 30 episodes. She was also interviewed alongside her costars on Mob Wives: The Sit Down, hosted by Carrie Keagan. Raiola's connection to the mob was through her uncle, Salvatore Lombardi, known as Sally Dogs, of the Genovese crime family.

Later in 2012, she got her own reality series, Big Ang, which was centered on her life and the operation of her Staten Island bar, Drunken Monkey. The following year, she starred again in a third spin-off of Mob Wives, Miami Monkey, which followed the opening and operation of her second bar in Miami, Florida.

Raiola also made appearances on Rachael Ray, Watch What Happens: Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, The Wendy Williams Show, The Real and Bethenny. Additionally, she contributed to an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, where she traded places with Alana Stewart, the ex-wife of George Hamilton.

In addition, she  appeared on the 2015 season of VH1’s Couples Therapy with her husband Neil Murphy. They joined Dr. Jenn Mann for three weeks of intense therapy to overcome the obstacles in their relationship.

Raiola died two days after going on The Dr. Oz Show, where she opened up about her battle with cancer.

She died February 18, 2016, in New York City. She was 55.
