Alex Giannini

Alex Giannini was a British actor best known for playing a Spanish officer in the 2007 film Elizabeth: The Golden Age and U.S. mobster Antonio Caponigro, a.k.a. Tony Bananas, in the 2015 film Legend, opposite Tom Hardy.

Giannnini spent most of his career as a theater actor and performed in productions of Hamlet, Not About Nightingales, Batman Live, Oh What A Lovely War and, most recently, Mack & Mabel.

He also had appearances on the television series Inspector Morse and The Musketeers, the television movies The One and Prisoner of Honor, featuring Richard Dreyfuss, and television miniseries Prime Suspect 6: The Last Witness, with Helen Mirren.
