Adrian Taylor was a news producer who spent almost 20 years with CBS News and won a Peabody Award for a 2012 60 Minutes segment about a symphony orchestra that flourished despite war and pervasive political strife in Kinshasa, Congo. The segment also earned him one of the eight Emmy Awards he received during his career.

Taylor, who went by the nickname "Clem," was a native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He got his start in journalism as a teenager when he produced a morning announcements broadcast at his high school. He also wrote for the local newspaper.

At Boston College he edited the school paper, The Heights. Upon graduation he worked for Pennsylvania Senator Richard Schweiker in Washington, D.C., before returning to media with a job at National Public Radio.

In addition to his lengthy tenure with CBS, the last four with 60 Minutes, he worked at ABC News, Fox News and ESPN.

Taylor died March 21, 2014, in Newark, New Jersey. He was 60.
