NoHo Arts District, CA – The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has named Yahoo! as the official digital partner for red carpet and behind-the-scenes content surrounding the Primetime Emmy® Awards. As the Television Academy's official online destination, Yahoo! will live stream action from the red carpet, offer the Academy's Backstage LIVE companion program, and deliver exclusive streaming content following this year's broadcast which airs live, coast-to-coast, on Sunday, September 22, 2013, on CBS.

Yahoo! is the first digital partner for the Television Academy outside of the broadcast networks. The partnership significantly expands the digital reach of the Emmy Awards, with access to Yahoo!'s 700 million users worldwide. For Yahoo!, the Television Academy partnership is another opportunity to deliver innovative content and the highest quality entertainment experiences to its users.

Fans will be able to watch live coverage leading up to the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards on a special hub at Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com), beginning this month with the nominations announcement ceremony on Thursday, July 18, and extending after the awards are given out in September. In the months following the Emmys, Yahoo! will also showcase the Television Academy's special An Evening With... series, which gives members and fans access to candid panel conversations about popular television series with the stars and creators of the shows.

Previous Evening With programs — including Game of Thrones, Revenge, The Walking Dead and more — can be found in Panels & Events.
