On the Cover: Christina Ricci

Screen star Christina Ricci covers the latest issue of award-winning Emmy® magazine. Photographed for the fashion pictorial in New York’s historic Soho district by Antoine Verglas, who was inspired by gold — which he views as a good-luck omen — Christina Ricci is glamorous in designers including Marchesa, Giambattista Valli, Jill Stuart and Chanel.

The film and television star talks with Emmy® about her role as 1960s stewardess 'Maggie Ryan' on ABC's Pan Am and why she wanted to be a part this "ultimate flight of fantasy." She opens up about the show business advice her former-model mother gave her, the “bad girl” mentality and fast-lane nightclub culture she once embraced, and when she knew it was time to mature:

“I was rebellious. I said a lot of crazy things. I was doing that because I felt threatened," Ricci shared.

"When you’re a teenager and people are asking you fairly intimate questions, or questions where you’re not really sure that your opinion is going to sound smart or interesting," she explains, "your defense is to make fun of yourself or the situation.”
