Laura Guzik, Costume Design & Supervision

After a successful career in the fashion industry, Laura Guzik became a Local 705 Costumer in 1996. She joined the Television Academy a few years later and has been active in the Costume Designers and Supervisors Peer Group for most of the 20+ years since.

Guzik has supervised many television series including Lois and Clark, The Nanny, Heroes, Without a Trace, Last Man Standing, Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love and is currently supervising Season 14 of Criminal Minds. With a keen eye for the creative and a strong mind for business, working as a Costume Supervisor has been a rewarding challenge. Prior to working in television, she worked as a freelance commercial wardrobe stylist, and has supervised a handful of features and numerous television pilots. She is experienced in most mediums.

Guzik holds a BA in French Literature & Art History from UCLA, graduating with honors. As her first job out of college, she worked in the DTLA buying office of Bullock's Department Store after completing their Executive Training Program. She worked for several years as a fashion merchandiser as well as supervising & producing catalog shoots for a major branded athletic apparel company.

Laura is honored to represent the hardworking costume supervisors and designers in her peer group.
