Gerri Shaftel Constant is Medical & Special Projects Producer for CBS-2 & KCAL-9 News Los Angeles.

Constant began working in television in Los Angeles in 1996.  She has since won 12 Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards and received 33 nominations.  

Her history with the Television Academy dates back to 1988, when she was the recipient of a National College Television Award while studying Journalism at California State University Northridge. Constant took home her second College Television Award two years later.  

Prior to joining CBS, Constant worked as Medical/Special Projects Producer for Fox 11 News Los Angeles.  She shares the Academy's vision of recognizing and encouraging excellence.
