Interactive Programming Emmy Finalists Unveiled

More Juried Award Announcements Anticipated
in Costume, Voice-Over, Animation

North Hollywood, CA — Among the 59th Primetime Emmy® Awards in September, four Juried Areas honors may also be presented. The four Juried Emmy® Award areas—in which one, more than one or no award may be given—are:

  • Costumes for a Variety or Music Program
  • Voice-Over Performance
  • Individual Achievement in Animation
  • Interactive Television

So far, five finalists have been announced in both Interactive Television Programming Juried Emmy Award areas.

Interactive Area One (Programming) finalists are:

  • Heroes Interactive
  • DIRECTV Interactive Sports
  • The Jericho Experience
  • The Fallen Alternative Reality Game
  • Big Brother Goes Mobile

Finalists in Interactive Area Two (Service) include:

  • MLB Mosaic
  • Current TV
  • Bravo Media
  • DisneyChannel.com Broadband Video Player
  • BIAP Fantasy Football Television Tracker

Juried Areas Presented During the

2007 Creative Arts Emmy Awards



Winners in all applicable juried areas will be announced at a later date, likely early to mid-August. There are no nominations in the juried areas; area finalists are not to be counted as nominees.



Two additional awards may also be given for Engineering Development and the Governors Award. These awards, if any, will be announced later this month.


Juried awards will be presented at the 2007 Creative Arts Emmy® Awards on Saturday, September 8 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The black tie ceremony—executive-produced by Lee Miller and John Moffitt with Spike Jones, Jr. producing and Chris Donovan directing—will be televised on E! on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 8 pm (ET/PT).
