Jay Fahy, MSNBC Legal Analyst

Jay Fahy, an attorney who appeared regularly as a legal analyst on cable news channel on MSNBC, died July 17, 2013.

According to new reports, the cause was a self-inflicted gunshot.

Fahy, who was based in New Jersey, served as Bergen County prosecutor from 1990 to 1995. In the years that followed he became a cable news pundit for various networks, including MSNBC, CNBC and Court TV (now TruTV).
