This week, we looked at the premieres of SNL:40, Vikings, and The Odd Couple; the finales of Two and a Half Men and State of Affairs; and the release of streaming newcomer Bosch. Fans’ excitement for Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary translated clearly to social, as the show received over 2.6MM engagements on Facebook and Twitter.

Active Audiences

Although SNL:40 takes the cake with market share, we see here that The Odd Couple makes an unconventional comeback when audience size is incorporated into the equation. The show received a tremendous amount of activity on Twitter with 773.0 engagements per 1K followers. On Facebook, SNL:40 still came out on top with 449.3 engagements per 1K fans.
