Paul Rauch, Producer of Top Daytime Dramas

Rauch worked on such popular series as Another World, One Life to Live and The Young and the Restless.

Paul Rauch, an executive producer for several top daytime drama, died December 10, 2012, in New York City. He was 78.

According to news reports, the cause was complications from from blood clots.

Rauch, who was also a writer, worked on several popular series, including Another World, One Life to Live, Santa Barbara, The Guiding Light and The Young and the Restless.

During his career, Rauch received eight Daytime Emmy Award nominations and won two — in 1976 for Another World and in 2001 for the children's special Run the Wild Fields.
