Lance LeGault, Actor Known for Work with Elvis, Numerous TV Appearances

IN addition to his work as Presley's double, LeGault appeared in dens of TV series, miniseries and films.

Lance LeGault, an actor known for his work as a double for Elvis Presley in several films, as well as for many television appearances, died September 10, 2012, in Los Angeles. He was 77.

A native of Chicago, LeGault originally began acting at a young age as a means of making extra money for his family.

His collaborations with Presley included the movies Girls! Girls! Girls!, Kissin’ Cousins, Viva Las Vegas and Roustabout.

His other feature films included Iron Eagle and Stripes.

He also worked widely in television, with a resume that included Gunsmoke, Black Sheep Squadron, The Rockford Files, Battlestar Galactica, The A-Team, Dynasty, Dallas, Magnum, P.I., The Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, Simon and Simon, Murder, She Wrote, Star Trek: The Next Generation, L.A. Law and Major Dad.
