Actor Julius Carry Dies

Julius Carry, a veteran actor who appeared in dozens of television series, died August 19, 2008, in Los Angeles. Carry, who had been battling pancreatic cancer, was 56.

Carry had recurring roles on the series Two Guys and Girl, Boy Meets World, Grown Ups, The District, Cosby, Murphy Brown, It’s a Living and Duet.

He also appeared in more than 100 guest roles, including episodes of Hill Street Blues, JAG, Spin City and Moesha.

A native of Chicago, Carry earned his first professional credit in the feature film Disco Godfather, and was perhaps best known as the villain Sho’nuff in the film The Last Dragon. Other big-screen credits included The New Guy, Moving, World Gone Wild, The Man with the Red Shoe and The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh.

Carry is survived by his wife, Naomi.
